Bristow & Hardy have been our go-to marketing gurus for a while now. Through a winning combination of our specialist recruitment expertise and their creative and strategic digital marketing talent, we’ve managed to bring a number of major clients onboard over the last few years.  

The dedicated B&H team have transformed our marketing through a mix of social media marketing, whitepapers and email marketing, plus a fabulous rebrand and a whole new look for our website. We couldn’t be happier to call Bristow & Hardy a close partner for our business.

To celebrate our joint success, we thought it was the perfect time to shine a spotlight on the business and its continuing growth.

Where it all began

Bristow & Hardy was launched by two marketing professionals working within the recruitment industry. But the business was really born out of a question – why does the recruitment industry in particular lack access to high quality marketing services?

This shaped the direction for the company, which has now carved a reputation as a specialist in recruitment marketing. Every new person joining the B&H team shares this in-depth understanding of the industry, as well as what really makes recruitment agencies tick. This insight helps to shape tailored, carefully planned marketing strategies for each client, designed to deliver tangible results.

Meet the team

The team at Bristow & Hardy has a young, vibrant energy, led by company founders and directors George Bristow and Sam Hardy. They’re supported by:

  • Harry Wright – business development manager
  • Sophie Booth – analytical assistant
  • Ella Stringer – digital marketing assistant
  • Emily McGarty – digital marketing assistant

Outside of the office and their regular lunch meetings, this close-knit team even tackle group challenges like the Walk All Over Cancer fundraising walk. This took place in 2020, and through a combined total of 1,878,625 steps (equivalent to 653 miles), the Bristow & Hardy team raised over £1000 for Cancer Research UK.

Brand new office space and an expanded team

Despite the challenges of COVID-19 and a difficult 2020, the Bristow & Hardy team have managed to go from strength to strength. In fact, there have even been some exciting changes happening, including a move to shiny new office space in Spinningfields, Manchester.

This sadly meant leaving much-loved office dog Milly behind, but she doesn’t mind too much being left at home. But more importantly, the team now have a slick new working space in a fabulous, well-connected part of the city.

The move also coincides with the expansion of the team, to keep up with Bristow & Hardy’s rapidly growing client list. Over the next few months, they’re taking on a new Content Executive and another Digital Marketing Assistant.

We can’t wait to see what they get up to next – hopefully it’ll be another exciting marketing project for First 4 Recruitment!
